Grace Ndiritu Reimagines the FOMU Collection.

British Kenyan artist Grace Ndiritu constructs an original photographic universe of paintings, textiles and interior design inspired by female artists O’Keeffe, Modotti and Albers. It represents a radical and holistic reinterpretation of the classic collection exhibition.

The Brief

To create a range of high-quality, unique and inspirational products that would appeal to a global audience and stay true to the tone and feel of the exhibition. This brief, like the exhibition, re-invented our approach to heritage retail. The design team embraced the modernistic approach and reinterpretation of underlying classics to introduce a brand-new range of textile products that reflected the images displayed in the exhibition. The range pushes the boundaries of exhibition retail products into a new era, where desire forgets practicality.
